New Year is a special holiday in any child's life. It is magical time when fairy tales come true: Father Frost secretly comes and leaves presents under the brightly decorated Christmas tree, it is time when garlands and candles are lit and wishes are made. A course of children's activities New Year Workshop will help young museum visitors to prepare for the upcoming holiday – to make Christmas decorations with their own hands, as well as gifts for parents and friends.

The first lesson of our New Year's workshop will be devoted to one of the warmest family traditions - decorating the Christmas tree. Together with the children's teacher the children will create decorative toys from paper and papier-mâché. The source of inspiration will be favourite fairy tale characters, New Year's themes and winter ornaments. You can take the finished works with you and decorate your home Christmas tree with them!

Recommended for children  aged 6–12.
