ART THERAPY FOR SILVER AGE VISITORS

The session will be dedicated to the diversity, beauty and usefulness of the plant world, as well as its reflection in art. By the beginning of the 17th century the science of plants, Botany, was formed, and already in the 18th century Carl Linnaeus named all the plants.

Visitors together with the presenter will look at the works in Yulia Sopina’s Myths about Life and Iosif Zisman’s Beauty of Silence exhibitions, depicting forests, fields and gardens, and discuss the artistic embodiments and symbolism of flowers and trees. Then, in the lecture room, they will talk about floral preferences, the images of which visitors will try to capture in their drawings.
