Studied at Moscow Theatre School of Art and Design (1981–1985); Leningrad – St Petersburg Higher College of Art and Design (1989–1995) under V. G. Kozeniuk and V. L. Rybalko. Exhibited since 1996. Member of the St Petersburg Union of Artists (1996), the Ozerki – Derevnia khudozhnikov (Artists’ Village) association (2010). Teaches at St Petersburg State University of Technology and Design (since 2000), Professor (2012). Recipient of the Grant of the President of the Russian Federation (1998). Lives and works in St Petersburg (since 1987). Main collections: State Museum of Urban Sculpture, State Russian Museum (both St Petersburg), Pskov and Izborsk Integrated Museum-Reserve.
