Studied at Ufa Art College (1968–1972); the Repin Institute of Arts (1972– 1978) in the Faculty of Painting under Ye. Ye. Moiseenko. Exhibited from 1972. Member of the USSR Union of Artists (1980), St Petersburg Society of Watercolourists (2000). Taught at Bashkir State Pedagogical Institute (1978–1984); A. I. Herzen State Pedagogical Institute – Russian State Pedagogical University (1989–2014), Associate Professor (2002); the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, China (2006). Main collections: ROSIZO (Moscow), Peterhof State Museum-Reserve, Research Museum of the Russian Academy of Arts (both St Petersburg), Bashkir State Nesterov Art Museum (Ufa).
