Painter, sculptor, graphic artist, object and installation artist
Studied at Leningrad Secondary School of Art (1960–1967); the Repin Institute of Arts (1968– 1974) in the Faculty of Painting under A. A. Mylnikov; the Creative Workshop of the USSR Academy of Arts (1974–1980) also under Mylnikov. Exhibited since 1974. Member of the Leningrad Branch of the RSFSR Union of Artists (1974), IFA (1993). Teaches at the Repin Institute of Arts (since 1974), Professor (2001). Lives and works in St Petersburg. Main collections: S. P. Diaghilev Museum of Contemporary Art, State Hermitage, State Museum of the History of St Petersburg, State Russian Museum (all St Petersburg), Gatchina State Museum-Reserve (Leningrad Region), State art museums in Arkhangelsk, Khabarovsk, Pskov, Saransk and Yekaterinburg; Museum of the History of Kiev (Ukraine).
