Studied at Leningrad Secondary School of Art (1976–1979); the Repin Institute of Arts (1980–1986) in the Faculty of Painting under Ye. Ye. Moiseenko (1980–1986). Exhibited since 1988. Member of the Leningrad Branch of the RSFSR Union of Artists (1987), IFA (1993). Taught at the Repin Institute of Arts (1986–1992). Lives and works in St Petersburg (since 1960). Main collections: State Russian Museum (St Petersburg), P. M. Dogadin State Picture Gallery (Astrakhan), Pskov and Izborsk Integrated Museum-Reserve, Valuyki History and Art Museum.
