Studied at Leningrad Art and Pedagogical College (1934–1938), under M. A. Aslamazian; A. N. Follendorf’s art studio; the Repin Institute of Arts (1939– 1947) in the Faculty of Sculpture under A. T. Matveev and V. A. Sinaisky. Exhibited from 1947. Member of the Leningrad Union of Soviet Artists (1947). Taught at the Children’s Evening School attached to Leningrad Art College (1938–1939); Leningrad Art College (1946– 1951). Awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labour, medals For the Defence of Leningrad, For Valiant Labour in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945.
