Studied at Moscow State Art College (1978– 1982). Exhibited since 1984. Member of the Moscow Branch of the RSFSR Union of Artists (1989). Gives master classes in painting and drawing at the State Museum of the History of Russian Literature (since 2013). Lives and works in Moscow. Main collections: Moscow Museum of Modern Art (Moscow), State Russian Museum (St Petersburg), New Jerusalem State Museum of History and Art (Istra), Abramtsevo State Museum-Reserve of History, Art and Literature (Khotkovo), State art museums in Kemerovo, Tomsk, Vologda and Yaroslavl.
