Studied at Moscow State Art Institute (1971–1977). Exhibited since 1987. Member of the Kochevie (Nomads) group (1987), the USSR Union of Artists (1991). Taught at Bryansk Art College (1977–1983), Leningrad Higher College of Art and Design (1983–1992). Lives and works in St Petersburg (since 1983). Main collections: S. P. Diaghilev Museum of Contemporary Art, Tsarskoe Selo Collection Museum (both St Petersburg), State art museums in Arkhangelsk and Yaroslavl.
