Studied at Novosibirsk Institute of Civil Engineering (1957–1962) in the Faculty of Architecture; in N. D. Gritsuk’s studio (1960– 1962). Exhibited since 1967. Member of the USSR Union of Architects (1965), the Association for Experimental Exhibitions (1978), the Association of Experimental Fine Art (1981), the Free Culture Partnership (1998), IFA (2005). Worked as an architect in Irkutsk (1962–1963); in Frunze, Kirghiz SSR (1963–1967); at the LenNIIproekt institute, Leningrad (1970–1978). Lives and works in St Petersburg (since 1967). Main collections: State Literary and Memorial Museum of F. M. Dostoevsky, State Museum of Urban Sculpture, State Russian Museum, Tsarskoe Selo Collection Museum (all St Petersburg), Verkhny Tagil Municipal Museum of History and Local History, State art museums in Arkhangelsk, Kostroma, Saransk and Tula.
