Studied at the art studio in Barnaul (1936–1939) with A. N. Borisov; the Omsk Art College (1939–1941). Worked as Head of the Culture Department of the Leniningrad City Executive Committee; director of the Bolshoi Drama Theatre in Leningrad (1959-1970). Honoured Worker of Culture of the RSFSR (1976). WWII veteran, awarded the medal For the Defence of Leningrad. Main collections: State Museum of the History of Altai Literature, Art and Culture.
