Studied at Leningrad Palace of Pioneers art studio (1956–1961) under S. D. Levin; the amateur art studio in the House of Medical Workers, Leningrad (1961–1965) under V. I. Suvorov; secondary school No. 190 affiliated with Leningrad Higher College of Art and Design (graduated in 1963); private studio of L. N. Smorgon (1968–1969); Leningrad Higher College of Art and Design, evening classes (graduated in 1971), in the Department of Artistic Ceramics and Glass; private studio of V. V. Sterligov (1972–1973). Exhibited since 1964. Member of the Association of Experimental Fine Art. Worked as an artist-decorator at the Palace of Pioneers theatre, A. S. Pushkin State Academic Drama Theatre, Young Spectators Theatre, all in Leningrad. Taught at the Children’s Art School No. 2 (1972–1973, since 1991). Lives and works in St Petersburg since 1951. Main collections: Museum of Nonconformist Art, State Museum of the History of St Petersburg, Tsarskoe Selo Collection Museum (all St Petersburg).
