Studied at the Art Studio of Leningrad Palace of Pioneers. Exhibited from 1956. Member of the Leningrad Union of Soviet Artists (1956). Worked as a set painter at the Maly Opera Theatre (1946–1949), production designer at the Kirov Theatre (1949–1973). Produced opera and ballet sets, based on designs by S. B. Virsaladze, V. F. Ryndin and S. M. Yunovich. WWII veteran, awarded medals For the Capture of Budapest, For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945. Dostoevsky, State Museum of the History of St Petersburg (both St Petersburg), Chelyabinsk State Museum of Fine Arts.
