Studied at the secondary school No. 190 affiliated with Leningrad Higher College of Art and Design (1960–1963); Leningrad Polytechnic Institute (1964–1967); Leningrad Civil Engineering and Construction Institute (1967–1972) in the Faculty of Architecture; Photojournalism Courses at the USSR Union of Journalists (1977–1978). Member of St Petersburg Academy of Contemporary Art, Artists’ Union of Russia, Art Photographers’ Union of Russia. Main collections: MAMM, MMOMA (both Moscow), Literary and Memorial Museum of F. M.
