Studied at the I. Ye. Repin Art College in Kishinev, Moldavian SSR (1972–1976); the Repin Institute of Arts (1976–1982); the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, Austria (1996–2000) under M. Pistoletto. Exhibited since 1975. Member of the Leningrad Branch of the RSFSR Union of Artists (1986), the Artist’s Union of Moldavia (1986), the Ozerki – Derevnia khudozhnikov (Artists’ Village) association (1990), Gesellschaft bildender Künstler Österreichs (1998), IAA (2003). Lives and works in St Petersburg (since 1976), in Vienna, Austria (since 1994) and in Ungheni, Moldova.
