Studied at the Repin Institute of Arts (1962–1968) in the Faculty of Graphic Art under M. A. Taranov. Exhibited from 1968. Member of the USSR Union of Artists (1972). Worked as an artist for publishing houses in Leningrad, Moscow and other cities; illustrated over 50 books. Main collections: ROSIZO, State Central Museum of the Modern History of Russia (both Moscow), Central Naval Museum, State Memorial Museum of A. V. Suvorov, State Russian Museum (all St Petersburg), State art museums in Irbit, Ivangorod, Novokuznetsk, Novosibirsk, Rostov, Salsk, Simferopol and others.
