Studied at Leningrad Secondary School of Art (1959–1965); the Repin Institute of Arts (1966–1972) in the Faculty of Graphic Art under A. F. Pakhomov. Exhibited from 1972. Member of the Leningrad Branch of the RSFSR Union of Artists (1973). Worked as an artist in the Khudozhnik RSFSR (Artist of the RSFSR), Detgiz and other publishing houses (1970s). Taught at the Repin Institute of Arts (1980s). Main collections: A. S. Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, ROSIZO (both Moscow), Kirishi Museum of History and Regional Studies, Breaking of the Siege of Leningrad Museum-Reserve (both Leningrad Region), State art museums in Belgorod, Irbit, Ivanovo, Nizhnevartovsk, Solvychegodsk, Vyatka, Yuzhno- Sakhalinsk and others.
