The MASP Film Club will host a screening of Georgiy Daneliya's iconic movie “I Am Walking around Moscow” (1964). Thanks to its witty dialogues, colourful characters and memorable songs, this lyrical comedy is recognised as a true masterpiece of Soviet cinema. It presents a set of completed stories-novellas about the adventures of a young underground construction worker Kolka and his friends. MASP guests are expected not only to watch the movie and discuss it together, but also to listen to a short talk about the Thaw period “New Wave” cinema.
