On 10th September, we open the exhibition Fragments of Epochs in the new museum building at the Griboyedov Canal Embankment, 101.

The exhibition is displayed on the first floor in the staterooms of the merchant Ivan Alafuzov former mansion, adapted for the museum space.

The exhibition layout is not chronological. Exposition is made up of more than 100 (out of the existing 12,000 museum pieces) works of painting, sculpture, objects, decorative and applied art - old and new museum acquisitions, which, as separate fragments of epochs, testify to the diversity of the collection and its artistic significance for the cultural geography of the city.

We also inform you that from 10th September there will be a single ticket for visiting exhibitions in both buildings.
