Graphic artist, painter
Studied at Leningrad Secondary School of Art (1959–1966); the Repin Institute of Arts (1967–1974) in the Faculty of Graphic Art under M. A. Taranov. Exhibited since 1971. Member of the Artists’ Union of Russia (1997), the St Petersburg Society of Watercolourists (1997), the Art-Ego group (2002). Worked as an artist at Neva, Aurora, Koster (Bonfire), Khochu vse znat (I Want to Know Everything) magazines, Lenizdat, Detskaia literatura (Children’s Literature) and other publishing houses (1974–1990s). Taught at Leningrad Children’s Art School No. 8 (1974–1975); Leningrad Higher College of Art and Design (1975–1990); St Petersburg Technological Institute of Service (1990–1998); St Petersburg State Academy of Art and Design (1997–2020), Associate Professor (1997). Lives and works in St Petersburg. Main collections: State Museum of Theatre and Music (St Petersburg).
