Studied at Gorodets Pedagogical College (1974–1978); Leningrad Higher College of Art and Design (1981–1991) in the Faculty of Monumental and Decorative Art. Exhibited since 1989. Member of the Artists’ Union of Russia (1994). Taught at Shenyang University, China (2012). Prize-winner of the Osaka Triennale, Japan (1997, 2001). Lives and works in St Petersburg (since 1981). Main collections: Gorodets Historical and Art Museum Complex.
