Studied at Leningrad Art College (1967–1971); the Repin Institute of Arts (1972–1978) in the Faculty of Painting under Ye. Ye. Moiseenko; the Creative Workshop of the Leningrad Branch of the RSFSR Union of Artists (1981) under V. F. Zagonek. Exhibited since 1978. Member of the USSR Union of Artists (1982), the St Petersburg Academy of Contemporary Art association (1996).
