Studied at the Factory school of the All-Union Association of the Optical-Mechanical Industry in Leningrad (1930–1935); the V. V. Sterligov studio (1931–1934); the Workers’ Fine Arts Faculty affiliated with the Repin Institute of Arts (1932–1933). Exhibited from 1956. Member of the USSR Union of Artists (1973), IFA (1991). Worked at the Graphic Art Workshops of the Leningrad Branch of the RSFSR Art Fund (1956–1989). Winner of the N. N. Punin Prize (1994), awarded the Order of Friendship (2002). Main collections: State Tretyakov Gallery (Moscow), State Museum of the History of St Petersburg, State Museum-Institute of the Roerich Family, State Russian Museum, Tsarskoe Selo Collection Museum (all St Petersburg), Artistic Culture of the Russian North State Museum Association (Arkhangelsk).
