Studied at Leningrad Secondary School of Art (1975–1981); Leningrad State Institute of Theatre, Music and Cinema (1981–1986) in the Faculty of Theatre Production under D. V. Afanasiev. Exhibited from 1990. Member of the Staryi gorod (Old City) group (1989– 1991). Worked as an artist at the Lenfilm studio (1986–1989). Main collections: State Russian Museum (St Petersburg).
