Studied at Leningrad Higher College of Art and Design (1977–1983) in the Faculty of Monumental and Decorative Art. Exhibited since 1983. Member of the Mitki group (1990–1992). Worked as director of the rock band Aquarium (1985–1990); designed CDs for the Mashina Vremeni band (1996), Andrei Makarevich (1996–2000), Jean Tatlian (2001) and others. Awarded the Medal of the Order For Merit to the Fatherland 2nd class (2007). Lives and works in St Petersburg (since 1977). Main collections: Moscow Museum of Modern Art (Moscow), State Museum of the History of St Petersburg (St Petersburg), Kuzbass Fine Arts Museum (Kemerovo).
