Studied at Leningrad Secondary School of Art (1952–1955); the Repin Institute of Arts (1955–1961) in the Faculty of Graphic Art under M. A. Taranov. Exhibited from 1959. Member of the USSR Union of Artists (1962). Worked as an artist for the magazines Koster (Bonfire) and Neva, in the Detskaia literature (Children’s Literature), Khudozhestvennaia literatura (Fiction) and Iskusstvo (Art) publishing houses (1960– 1981); in the Print-Making Studio of the Leningrad Branch of the RSFSR Art Fund (1967–1981).
