Studied at Leningrad Secondary School of Art (1952–1955); the Repin Institute of Arts (1955–1961) in the Faculty of Graphic Art under M. A. Taranov. Exhibited from 1959. Member of the USSR Union of Artists (1962). Worked as an artist for the magazines Koster (Bonfire) and Neva, in the Detskaia literature (Children’s Literature), Khudozhestvennaia literatura (Fiction) and Iskusstvo (Art) publishing houses (1960– 1981); in the Print-Making Studio of the Leningrad Branch of the RSFSR Art Fund (1967–1981). Main collections: A. S. Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, Moscow Museum of Modern Art, State Museum of Architecture, State Tretyakov Gallery, V. V. Mayakovsky State Museum (all Moscow), State Russian Museum (St Petersburg), State art museums in Arkhangelsk, Irkutsk, Kurgan, Perm, Petrozavodsk, Sochi, Vologda and others.
