Studied at the Repin Institute of Arts (1945–1952) in the Faculty of Graphic Art under K. I. Rudakov and V. M. Konashevich. Exhibited from 1952. Member of the USSR Union of Soviet Artists (1949). Worked as an artist for the publishing houses Goslitizdat, Detskaia literature (Children’s Literature), Iskusstvo (Art), Khudozhestvennaia literatura (Fiction) and others (1953–1988). Main collections: ROSIZO, State Central Museum of the Modern History of Russia, State Tretyakov Gallery (all Moscow), State Russian Museum (St Petersburg), State art museums in Ivanovo, Kirov, Penza, Petrozavodsk, Ryazan, Sevastopol, Yoshkar-Ola and others, I. S. Turgenev Integrated State Literary Museum (Orel).
