Exhibited since 1982. Member of the Novye khudozhniki (New Artists) group (1983), the New Academy of Fine Arts (1989). Worked with the rock bands Aquarium, Kino, Zvuki Mu, with the music ensemble Pop Mechanics (1980s); starred in the films Assa (1987), Two Captains 2 (1992), Ellie Parker (2005), 2-Assa-2 (2008), Golden Ratio (2010); costume designer for the ballet August Pace (1989); co-founder and editor of the art magazine Cabinet (1990s–2000s); organiser of the radio programme Tri porosenka (Three Little Pigs) at Radio Record (2004). Lives and works in St Petersburg (since 1980). Main collections: Moscow Museum of Modern Art (Moscow), State Russian Museum (St Petersburg).
