Studied at the Children’s Art School, Orenburg (1967–1971); G. G. Myasoedov Art College, Orel (1972–1977); the Repin Institute of Arts (1982– 1988) in the Faculty of Graphic Art under V. A. Vetrogonsky. Exhibited since 1977. Member of the USSR Union of Artists (1991). Taught at Leningrad Secondary School of Art (1988–1993). Academician of the Petrovskaia Academy of Sciences and Arts (2011). Lives and works in St Petersburg (since 1980). Main collections: State Museum of Vladimir Vysotsky (Moscow), A. A. Sobchak Museum of Democracy in Modern Russia, National Library of Russia (both St Petersburg), Orenburg Regional Museum of Fine Arts; Balchik Art Gallery (Bulgaria).
