Studied at G. S. Cherepovsky’s private studio (1975–1977); Leningrad Higher College of Art and Design (1978–1986) in the Department of Industrial Design under Ye. N. Lazarev and L. V. Kutsenko. Exhibited since 1979. Member of the Association of Experimental Fine Art (1983), the Mitki group (1985), the USSR Union of Artists (1990). Taught at the Art Studio of Levashovsky House of Culture (1982–1986); the House of Children’s Creativity in Petrogradsky District, Leningrad (since 1986); Russian State Pedagogical University (1991–1992). Lives and works in St Petersburg (since 1961).
