Painter, graphic and theatre artist
Studied at Leningrad Secondary School of Art (1962–1966); the Repin Institute of Arts (1966–1972) in the Faculty of Painting. Exhibited since 1972. Member of the USSR Union of Artists (1975), the St Petersburg Academy of Contemporary Art association (1995). Worked as a set designer for theatres in Kazan, Astrakhan, Moscow, St Petersburg, Tomsk and Tula (since 1972); as an artist for the Detgiz, Vita Nova and Redkaia Kniga (Rare Books) publishing houses (since 1990). Lives and works in St Petersburg (since 1961). Main collections: ROSIZO (Moscow), State Literary and Memorial Museum of Anna Akhmatova at the Fountain House, State Museum of the History of St Petersburg, State Museum of the Political History of Russia, State Museum of Theatre and Music, State Russian Museum (all St Petersburg), Magadan Regional Local Studies Museum, State art museums in Astrakhan, Kazan, Khabarovsk, Kirov, Petrozavodsk, Sochi and Yuzhno- Sakhalinsk; Art Museum of Georgia (Tbilisi, Georgia).
