Studied at Leningrad Secondary School of Art (1960–1967); the Repin Institute of Arts (1968–1974) in the Faculty of Graphic Art under G. D. Yepifanov. Exhibited since 1972. Member of the USSR Union of Artists (1979), IAA (1993), Artists’ Union of Mexico (1993), St Petersburg Society of Watercolourists (1997). Awarded the Medal of the Order For Merit to the Fatherland 2nd class (2019). Lives and works in St Petersburg.
