Studied at Leningrad Art College (1979–1983) under A. A. Vinogradov; Leningrad Higher College of Art and Design (1986–1991) in the Department of Monumental and Decorative Sculpture under V. L. Rybalko. Exhibited since 1987. Member of the Leningrad Union of Artists (1990). Worked as an artist for the publishing house Almaz (Diamond, 1996–1998); creator of monumental works for St Petersburg hotels Staraia Vena (Old Vienna), Kholstomer, Zapovednik (Reserve), Na Sennoi (At Sennaya Square) and Castle Hotel (2004–2011). Organiser and teacher of the Atelier of Arts studio-workshop (since 2006). Lives and works in St Petersburg. Main collections: State Hermitage, State Museum of Urban Sculpture, State Russian Museum (all St Petersburg), State art museums in Kostroma, Tikhvin and Veliky Novgorod.
