Architect, graphic artist
Studied at G. Ya. Dlugach’s art studio (1953–1955); the Repin Institute of Arts as an undergraduate (1955–1961) in the Faculty of Architecture under A. K. Barutchev, and as a postgraduate (1962–1965). Doctor of Architecture (1989). Exhibited from 1970. Member of the USSR Union of Architects (1965), the USSR Union of Artists (1979). Worked as an architect at the Lenniiproekt Institute (1966–1970). Taught at the Repin Institute of Arts (1963–2003), Professor (1992). Honoured Art Worker of the Russian Federation (1998); advisor to the Russian Academy of Architecture and Construction Sciences (2000). Main collections: Russian National Museum of Music (Moscow), National Library of Russia, Research Museum of the Russian Academy of Arts, State Museum of the History of St Petersburg, State Museum of Urban Sculpture, State Russian Museum (all St Petersburg), State art museums in Bryansk, Magnitogorsk; National Gallery of Armenia (Yerevan, Armenia).
