Studied at the Repin Institute of Arts (1981–1987) in the Faculty of Graphic Art under V. A. Vetrogonsky. Exhibited since 1991. Member of the Artists’ Union of Russia (1991). Taught at the Russian State Pedagogical University (1996– 2000). Works as an artist for the publishing houses Lenizdat, Vita Nova and others (since 1988). Lives and works in St Petersburg. Main collections: A. A. Bakhrushin State Central Theatre Museum (Moscow), National Library of Russia, State Hermitage (both St Petersburg), State art museums in Vologda, Makhachkala; French Playing Card Museum (Issy-les- Moulineaux, France).
