Studied at the A. Azimzade Art College in Baku (1970–1974); Leningrad Higher College of Art and Design (1976–1981) in the Department of Artistic Ceramics and Glass under V. S. Vasilkovsky. Exhibited from 1980. Member of the Leningrad Branch of the RSFSR Union of Artists (1991), the Chemnitzer Künstlerbund and Bundesverband Bildender Künstlerinnen und Künstler, Germany (1996). Taught at the Art Lyceum in Pushkin (1990–1994). Lived and worked in St Petersburg (1976–1994), before emigrating from Russia, lived in Chemnitz, Dresden and Leipzig (from 1994). Main collections: Kobrin Military and Historical Museum of A. V. Suvorov (Belarus), Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden (Germany).
