Studied at Kiev State Art Institute (1971–1976). Exhibited since 1976. Member of the USSR Union of Artists (1979). Lives and works in Moscow (since 1978). Main collections: ROSIZO, State Tretyakov Gallery (both Moscow), State art museums in Ivanovo, Kemerovo, Kirov, Kurgan, Kursk, Nizhny Tagil, Novokuznetsk and others; Museum Ludwig (Cologne, Germany), Germanisches National Museum (Nuremberg, Germany), Wroclaw Museum of Contemporary Art (Poland).
