Studied at Arkhangelsk State Pedagogical Institute (1961–1968) in the Faculty of Philology; V. V. Sterligov’s studio in Leningrad (1972–1973). Exhibited from 1974. Member of the Association of Experimental Fine Art (1981), IFA (1991), the Free Culture Partnership association (2000). Lived and worked in St Petersburg (from 1972) and Arkhangelsk.
