Studied at Leningrad Secondary School of Art (1960–1965); the Repin Institute of Arts (1965–1971) in the Faculty of Sculpture under M. K. Anikushin; Creative Workshop of the USSR Academy of Arts (1971–1974) also under Anikushin. Exhibited since 1971. Member of the Leningrad Branch of the RSFSR Union of Artists (1977). Taught at the sculpture studio By Voznesensky Bridge of the Palace of Children and Youth Creativity (1983–2015). Lives and works in St Petersburg. Main collections: State Museum of Urban Sculpture, State Russian Museum (both St Petersburg), Tes Art Museum (Krasnoyarsk Territory).
