Studied at Moscow Secondary School of Art (1959–1966); V. I. Surikov State Institute of Art, Moscow (1966–1972) in the Faculty of Graphic Art. Exhibited since 1972. Member of the USSR Union of Artists (1974). Awarded the Silver Order Service to Art of the International Academy of Culture and Art (2008). Lives and works in Moscow (since 1954). Main collections: Memorial Museum of Cosmonautics, ROSIZO, State Tretyakov Gallery (all Moscow), State Russian Museum (St Petersburg), State art museums in Ivanovo, Kaliningrad, Komsomolskon- Amur, Krasnoyarsk, Kursk, Novokuznetsk, Volgograd and others; Museum of Contemporary Art (Antwerp, Belgium), Germanisches National Museum (Nuremberg, Germany), Kunsthalle Würth (Schwäbisch Hall, Germany).
