Studied at the A. I. Herzen State Pedagogical Institute, Leningrad (1964–1969) in the Faculty of Art and Graphic Design. Exhibited since 1971. Member of the USSR Union of Artists (1978). Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation (2004). Lives and works in St Petersburg. Main collections: ROSIZO (Moscow), State Museum of the History of St Petersburg, State Museum of Urban Sculpture, State Russian Museum (all St Petersburg), Gatchina State Museum-Reserve, Lodeinoe Pole Museum of History and Regional Studies (both Leningrad Region), State art museums in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Magnitogorsk, Murmansk, Petrozavodsk, Tula, Vologda and Yakutsk.
