Member of the Union of Soviet Architects (1933). Worked as an architect at the Leningradstroi organisation (1927–1930), the Voenproekt institute (1930– 1938), the Architectural and Art Workshops of Lenizo (1938–1941), the Apartment Management Unit in Kirov, the Urals Military Okrug (1941–1945), the Architectural and Restoration Workshops of the Directorate of Architecture, Leningrad (1945–1948), Lengiprotiazhmash (1948–1953), Lengiprogor (1953– 1955), Rosstromproekt (1955– 1960), Lenoblproekt (1960–1963) and Lengrazhdanproekt (1963–1969) institutes. Taught at Leningrad Institute of Industrial Building Engineers (1934–1939); Leningrad Institute of Communal Construction Engineers (1939–1940); Leningrad Forestry Academy during evacuation in Kirov (1943–1945); Leningrad Civil Engineering and Construction Institute (1946–1948); Moscow Red Banner Higher Military Engineering College (1946–1948); Leningrad Forestry Academy and elsewhere (1950s–1966).
