Studied at Leningrad Palace of Pioneers art studio; the secondary school No. 190 affiliated with Leningrad Higher College of Art and Design; Leningrad Higher College of Art and Design (1967–1972). Exhibited from the 1980s. Member of the Leningrad Branch of the RSFSR Union of Artists. Awarded the Vasiliev Brothers State Prize of the RSFSR (1987), the RSFSR State Prize (2000). Main collections: Museum of Nonconformist Art (St Petersburg).
