Matveev; the Repin Institute of Arts (1933–1936) in the Further Training Courses under A. T. Matveev. Candidate of Art History (1945). Exhibited from 1929. Member of the associations Krug khudozhnikov (Circle of Artists, 1928–1929), the Leningrad Branch of the Union of Soviet Artists (1932). Taught at the Repin Institute of Arts (1932–1936, 1939–1941, 1945– 1948), Associate Professor (1946); Leningrad Civil Engineering and Construction Institute (1956– 1961), Associate Professor.
