Graphic artist, painter, sculptor
Studied at the N. V. Gogol Art College, Alma-Ata (1970–1975) in the Department of Painting; the Repin Institute of Arts (1975– 1981) in the Faculty of Graphic Arts under G. D. Yepifanov. Exhibited since 1979. Member of the Leningrad Branch of the RSFSR Union of Artists (1984), the St Petersburg Academy of Contemporary Art association (1995). Worked as an artist in the Detskaia Literatura (Children’s Literature), Malysh (Kid), AST, Rosmen and other publishing houses (1981–1999). Taught at Leningrad Secondary School of Art (1981–1988), teaches at St Petersburg State University (since 2008). Honoured Artist of Russia (2004). Lives and works in St Petersburg (since 1975).
