Studied at the Repin Institute of Arts (1933–1938). Worked as an artist-conservator at the State Hermitage (1938–1980s), head of the studio for conservation of easel painting (1946–late 1950s), head of the studio for conservation of wall-mounted and loess sculpture (1955–1980s). Main collections: Research Museum of the Russian Academy of Arts (St Petersburg).
