Studied at Moscow State Art College (1980–1984) under M. M. Bulgakova and Yu. N. Larin. Exhibited since 1987. Member of the Moscow Union of Artists (1992), the International Art Foundation (1996). Lives and works in Moscow (since 1962). Main collections: State Hermitage, State Russian Museum (both St Petersburg), Abramtsevo State Museum- Reserve of History, Art and Literature (Khotkovo), State art museums in Nizhny Tagil, Novosibirsk and Saratov; Marc Chagall Museum (Vitebsk, Belarus).
