Studied at the Charles Vandame School of Photography in Paris (1970). Exhibited since 2004. Worked as a photographer for the Pauline’s Modelling Agency, Paris (1971); on advertising campaigns for the brands Yves Saint-Laurent, Dior, Chanel and Ralph Lauren; for the magazines Elle, Depeche Mode, Marie-Claire, Vogue, Condé Nast New York, Amica, Femme, Harper’s Bazaar, Madame Figaro and Glamour (1972–2009). Gave master classes at the Ecole nationale supérieure Louis-Lumière, Paris and the Icart Photo – Ecole de photographie de Paris in Levallois-Perret, France (1990–2000). Lives and works in Le Fidelaire, Normandy (since 2003). Main collections: Musée du Louvre (Paris, France).
