Studied at Leningrad Secondary School of Art (1964–1971); the Repin Institute of Arts (1976–1982) in the Faculty of Sculpture under M. K. Anikushin. Exhibited since 1981. Member of the Leningrad Branch of the RSFSR Union of Artists (1985). Taught at the Vocational Rehabilitation Centre for disabled people (1997–2014). Lives and works in St Petersburg. Main collections: Moscow Museum of Modern Art (Moscow), State Museum of Urban Sculpture, State Russian Museum, Tsarskoe Selo Collection Museum (all St Petersburg).
