Studied at Odessa Institute of Art (1930–1934) under A. Gaush and T. Fraerman. Exhibited from 1954. Member of Leningrad Union of Soviet Artists (1946–1952 expelled, reinstated 1957). Worked as chief artist of the State Museum of Socialist Reconstruction of Agriculture, Leningrad; as a district artist-decorator in Leningrad (1941–1945). Main collections: A. S.
